HOT SEAT PROGRAM
ENHANCING: INSIGHT, AWARENESS & TECHNIQUE
DRIVER TRAINING ACADEMY provides a practical driver enhancement program for people who have completed an approved driver-training course.The ‘Hot-Seat’ program has proven to be a powerful process in developing driver insight, attitude, general driving style and competence.
A ‘Hot-Seat Leader’ and three other participants take turns at ten-minute drives for a total of about three hours.
During each drive the observers may praise any driving act that they deem to be worthy (even in part).
However, if they wish to make a negative comment about the driving they must substantiate it and they are then subject to the scrutiny of the group as a whole.
The focus is always on appropriate praise.

FEES:
For Learner Permit Holder and others requiring professional instructor.
$200 divided by the number of participants attending: (2 = $100 each / 3 = $67 each).
For Licence Holders using a volunteer Hot-Seat Leader.
The Hot-Seat Leader participates free, one participant supplies the vehicle and the others share the price of the fuel equally.
